The "Bisses"are channeling sky opened quite known in the Valais. They allowed to irrigate the cultures and to bring the water necessary for the economy of villages alpine.The "levronais" built the bisse in 1465, during its history, this aqueduct which worked so-so, was the object of numerous conflicts among the "bagnards"and the "levronais".Destroyed then reconstructed, it is an eloquent and visible track of the history of Bagnes. Always in fonction, le "Bisse"passes by on a lenght 13 kilometres, it result from alpages of "la Chaux"by following its court it passes in some steps of the restaurant"La Marmotte" and ends its journey by a vertiginous fall which will take it farther towards the municipalities of "Vollège".The Bisse it is also a relaxing walk because it offers a flat path (rather rare in mountains) and a variant of magnificent landscape.
